I don't know if you have that in your country but in Poland in each self respecting bar with good crowd, there MUST be flat tv's hanging here and there, showing always FTV. Place I visited yesterday was not an exception. Imagine how difficult it was for me to stay in the conversation when a collection like this years' D&G RTW for Fall is being shown! I don't think it has ever happened that I would like a collection so... ENTIRELY. D&G RTW fall is the first to be so!
Bergamo is a lovely spot for a weekend, see for yourself on the pictures. And if you go there, I would highly recommend the hotel we were staying in - Mercure Hotel. Also thanks to great deal from booking.com it was a pleasure to stay there!
I just came back from a work week in Milan. Even though it rained a lot, I managed to catch a bit of the city on the photos. (Un)luckily all the shops were closed when I was getting out of work, so I didn't ruin my budget/get anything spectatular and faboulous...
I got bright pink headphones as a Xmas present this year - and I like a lot to wear them around, even though it does attract slightly more pedestrians attention...:) And they are perfect to protect your ears from the wind!
What would Bridget Jones think if she saw Mark Darcy in his silly reindeer sweater this year? I think she would have thought, ok, he knows reindeers are SO IN this year, he just chose the wrong brand of the right garment!
...Because reindeer sweaters this year are everywhere and we all love them. Snowflakes, reindeers, everyone searches for those sweaters on sales now. And I was wondering today: how do we know that the reindeer sweaters are in? How come we all (or, at least the majority) like them all of a sudden? Of course, one can say, is all about fashion with capital F, big designers, look at D&G F2010, it all started there. The problem is, I dont think the million of girls who search for that sweater in Berschka's and Zara's, I don't think those girls have actually SEEN that D&G collection. And yet, they like the sweaters. I think it is much more trivial. I think we see same types of clothes in several shops and we subconsciously start to like it. The more we see it, the more we like it. And I swear, if only I own one day few different clothes brands, I will surely make an experiment on this topic! I just need to think of a symbol hidious enough to make it easy to verify. Any ideas?
PS: and the above does not mean I think that reindeers are hidious. I think they are cute!
So this is me, an adult. Moving back to Poland was like growing up in the fast-forward mode :) There are good things about being a real adult: - you have a good excuse to buy a lot of new clothes, suitable for an adult, responsible woman - you get a lot more respect from people when you are dressed in adult clothes (you can even keep up that respect if your nails are bright pink, I checked) - you have a lovely apartment where no one else is making a mess but you - plus an extra bonus, your family is happy (I think!)
So I have done the above, or actually I am still in the process of buying more adult clothes. Which is necessary, since growing up did not stop me from spilling things, falling on things, things falling on me... As a result, i need a lot of clothes, no joke.
So, to all adults out there. Controlled growing up is managable :)
PS: But I still cannot wait for the third week of December, when I am in Holland for a couple of days, planning on temporarily rewinding the growing up thingy!
