Sicily - best bed&breakfest
Out of all the hotels and B&B's that we stayed in, there was one place that we particularly enjoyed. It was near Agrigento, in the south of Sicily, where the famous site of Greek temples is located. It was an extremely peaceful place, filled with animals and extraordinary charm. Not only were we welcomed with a bottle of excellent house wine, but also we could use the swimming pool at the time of our arrival (midnight!) and even the bathroom was so welcoming: it had a complete shaving set for the gentleman and the so needed in the trip cosmetic pads for the lady!
This was the first thing in the morning you would see after opening the doors:
And this is a couple of shots of the area around the Bed and Breakfest.

Sicily - Vulcano
I think out of the whole holidays, the most beautiful place was the Vulcano island, one of the Eolian islands. As the name properly suggests, the island is pretty much a volcano. It is not active any more, therefore it is possible to go up to the canion and look inside! I loved the amazing views from the top of it!
...you just need to get used to the more or less intensive smell of sulfur....:)

Sicily - Palermo
We have actually only seen Palermo for a couple of hours, on the way to Cefalu, as we have read and heard that it is too big city to sightsee with pleasure in such high temperatures. However, I tend to disagree. Palermo might be a big city, but it has a lot of charm, and as I will strongly discourage you from visiting Catania (to me quite a dirty and unsafe place), I will say that Palermo is worth to see!

Sicily - west coast
After my return from holidays I needed to go through over a thousand of pictures that we made in Sicily. Now its time to share with you some of them :) I will follow the example of my friend Aude and share them in parts.
Our trip was planned as a circle around the island, starting on the west coast, in Trapani. Below our first day of going around in the area.

So much sun in Cinque Terre
The way the pictures were made I think show well how warm the place was... and sunny... and peaceful... and beautiful... and cosy...
Well. I did like it.

I luv Greece...
I did not get yet to write about Greece. And Greece was amazing. I still keep my flight ticket, just for memory:)
What I will remember the most and why:

1) Very top of Lukavittos hill in the middle of the night - for amazing view and thoughts on how suprisingly small this world is
2) Anafiotika - for wondering how this cute maze of tiny little streets and houses can be hidden so well in peace, just 5 minutes away from the "city jungle"...*
3) Stoned wall on the outer side of Hydra - for beautiful sunset, amazing view on the harbour and no crowd around.
4) Open air cinema in the heart of Athens - for carefuly selected good movies that you have never had a chance to see before, for a view on Akropolis and for cinema time with simultanous cigarette and ice cream!
5) Cute restaurant right by the sea in the ancient Epidavros. For good mood and good food.
6) Enlighted petrol stations in the middle of the night. For petrol, when you think you are not gonna make it home cause all other stations are closed...
7) Tent almost next to sea - for the simplicity of good time
*Every now and then you might see a lost tourist desperately looking for entrance to Akropolis and melting fast in 40 degrees sun.
